Elite Gourmet with reusable brew basket is a flop

This is an improvement of the original Mr. Coffee Maker I'm replacing, only because the carafe chipped. It held up for 23 years. Pros: 1) It brews relatively quickly, and the coffee brews at approximately 165 degrees. Pretty standard for 90% of all coffee makers. 2) The footprint is small for tight kitchen counters.
