About BrewRank
Honest reviews for everything coffee.
Expert reviews and community ratings for every coffee bean, espresso machine, grinder, accessory, and café. One canonical page for everything coffee — with a Coffee Score from our editors and a Coffee Lovers Score from thousands of enthusiasts. Think of it as the IMDb + Rotten Tomatoes of coffee.
We combine professional, hands-on editorial reviews with one-click community ratings so that every coffee bean, espresso machine, grinder, accessory, and café gets a single canonical page — answering the only question that matters: “Should I buy this?”
Who we are
BrewRank was founded by Cameron Herring and is written by The BrewRank Editorial Team — a small group of coffee obsessives who cup, brew, and daily-drive everything we score. We currently track 1,193 products across 11 categories, backed by more than 4.8M verified buyer ratings.
How we test
Every coffee is graded on our five-point specialty standard — flavor, freshness & roast quality, sourcing transparency, value, and consistency — and every machine, grinder, and accessory earns its score through repeated real-world sessions, never spec sheets alone. The full framework is public: read How We Rank and How We Review.
Two scores, one honest verdict
The Coffee Score ☕ reflects our expert testing. The Coffee Lovers Score ❤ aggregates thousands of enthusiast ratings, with verified-owner indicators where applicable. The headline number blends the two — 80% expert, 20% community — so one loud minority can never move a verdict.
How we make money
BrewRank is reader-supported. When you buy through links on our site we may earn an affiliate commission — it never affects a score. We never accept payment for placement, scores, or rankings, and brands cannot preview or veto a review. Editorial and revenue are kept fully separate.
