Bought this to replace an old glass-carafe Mr. Coffee that was burning the bottom inch of every pot. The warming plate would basically cook whatever was left after the first hour, and by 10am the coffee tasted like a tire. So the thermal carafe was the whole point.It works.

Great coffee maker and really affordable

I bought this coffee maker to replace our Cuisinart coffee maker that gave up the ghost after many years of service. I wasn’t sure about my choice to go with the Black & Decker because it was quite a bet cheaper than a new Cuisinart but I have to say it’s been great and I don’t regret my choice at all.
