Great little grinder, complaints about adjustable grind and noise don't seem to hold up...at least with my unit. Expresso to large grind provided. I don't run it for long periods so haven't had any "over heating" issues, it's not made for large grinding chores...if that's what you need don't buy it.

Better than most but not perfect
I like that it grinds more beans than most but it is messy. Grinds always escape under the case basin. Not sure how it measures for 12 cups. Sometimes it grinds all the beans at once but others it stops before they are all used and the settings are the same (I leave it on 12 cups).
