Same bean, same settings, nothing touched, and yet a different consistency of grind each and every time. It was impossible to dial it in.

Excellent Espresso Grinder
The Sette 270 is a great, precision espresso grinder. It can grind somewhat coarse, but not coarse enough for a french press; maybe coarse enough for Chemex. As far as grinding for espresso, it is very fast, grinding 18g in about 6 seconds.

Nice but Noisy
I love this coffee grinder but it is pretty noisy. It looks great, there are three programmable grind times, the controls are simple to use. Some of the coffee grounds get onto the counter but you can avoid that by lifting the portafilter closer to the grinder. Don't lift it too far or you'll clog the burrs.
